Muriel Agnes is an educator and auricular acupuncturist with a PhD in Energy Medicine and a Masters of Adult Education (1987). Since 1999, Dr. Agnes has apprenticed with several doctors of Auricular Medicine, in particular Dr. Beate Strittmatter of the German Academy of Auricular Medicine.

It is perhaps for this reason that the aspiration to help not just some, but all beings heal, has historically been an important part of the medical tradition. To explain this, we need to consider how medicine is interwoven with other social domains.
