On April 1, 2026, China implemented a landmark national standard: Classification and Determination of TCM Constitution. Although designated as a recommended rather than mandatory standard, it represents a major step in modernizing traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) by converting traditional constitution theory into a clear, measurable and clinically practical framework. By clarifying the relationship between constitution, disease, and pattern differentiation, the standard strengthens professional credibility, supports research, and enhances patient-centered treatment.
Acupuncture Today is Moving!
After more than 16 months in its current location, Acupuncture Today's publisher, MPAmedia, will be taking over a new building. Having grown to a staff of more than 40 people, the new facility offers twice as much office space while maintaining the same size warehouse and storage.
The move will take place from March 30 - April 2. While the production of Acupuncture Today will continue at its monthly pace, the office will be closed on March 30 and April 2. Acupuncture Today's website, acupuncturetoday.com, is housed offsite and will not be affected by the move; however, all e-mail messages sent to Acupuncture Today during this time will be stored on file until the company's Internet access is restored April 3rd. All e-mail addresses will remain the same.
Beginning in April, our new mailing address is as follows:
Acupuncture Today
5406 Bolsa Avenue
Huntington Beach, CA 92649-1021
While the company's local telephone numbers may have to change, all of Acupuncture Today's current toll-free (800) numbers will remain the same. Please update your information and make sure to watch the next few issues of AT for more information.
