Pacific Symposium a Success

19 Years and Still Going Strong

The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine hosted its 19th annual Pacific Symposium on Nov. 8-11, 2007 at the Catamaran Resort, located at Mission Bay in San Diego. More than 700 guests enjoyed the four-day event filled with lectures, workshops, advanced techniques and much more. Speakers and highlights included keynote speaker and Acupuncture Today columnist, Felice Dunas, who spoke on "The Role of TCM in Corporate Wellness Programs"; "Tuina for Asthma" workshop taught by Bill Helm; advanced workshops, "Root Treatment in Acupuncture," taught by Nigel Dawes; "Treating Syndromes Associated with Obesity," taught by Kiiko Matsumoto; and daily morning and afternoon shen gong exercises.

More than 70 exhibitors attended the conference, including the following:
