NCCAOM Job Task Analysis Survey!

Your Participation Needed to Advance the Profession
DIGITAL EXCLUSIVE

The NCCAOM invites you to participate in the NCCAOM Job Task Analysis survey. We encourage all licensed acupuncturists and herbal medicine practitioners to participate in the 2024 JTA survey.

You can receive up to 12 Professional Development Activity (PDA) credits in the core recertification catetgories for survey completion. Three (3) PDA credits will be awarded for each completed exam section of the survey; if you complete the entire survey, you will receive 12 PDA credits. PDA points for JTA survey completion will be distributed within four weeks after the survey close date of April 21, 2024.

All survey participants who have completed the survey also will be considered for random prize drawings that will be announced on the NCCAOM website and social media channels.

Your participation in this effort is invaluable in defining NCCAOM exam content outlines at the entry-to-practice level. The data collected is essential for recognition and advancing the acupuncture and herbal medicine profession with government agencies, employers, and other institutions.

The acupuncture and herbal medicine profession, like most health care professions, requires standardization across the board (consistency, processes, and procedures) on a national level. The process of standardization would improve the level of competency and safety – not just statewide or local, but nationally.

All licensed acupuncturists should have received an email from the NCCAOM with the survey link. The survey can be completed in multiple sessions for your convenience. Click the link in your email invitation and complete the survey at your own pace; your progress gets saved, so you can come back and finish later, but do so before April 21.

If you have not received the email, please go the NCCAOM JTA request form at https://www.nccaom.org/ja-survey-entry/, as each recipient will be sent a unique link to complete the survey.
